There was a Biblical character, Ananias Whose personality traits were surely manias He was a liar, liar, liar Minus the Holy Spirit hit hell's fire Ananias had a wife named Sapphira Who swayed like the palm, palmyra Her desire was to husband who was a liar Now she is roasting in that hot hell fire Manias- an irrational but irresistible motive for a belief or action This clerihew taken from Biblical passage Acts 5: 1-10, loosely interpreted
