Anairda 2

they announced the winners
but I'm not one of them
I maintain permanent invisibility
of the good loser
I just accumulated words
even when sleeping
a hell inside screaming
and my walls with contempt to the light
protected all my naive sacrileges
did you come sometime
chewing old truths
you can light the fires if you want
I said
can lick the veil of these shadows
whispered
like I still don't feel the pain
of when something enchanted pierces the horizon
right where my salvation springs
but don't mind
said sobbing to her
i have a painful way
to feel the happiness of your presence.

It appears the poet is a winner after all, "feel[ing] the happiness of your presence." Some victories are rather temporary; the greater victories, on the other hand, are long-lasting, emotional, and rewarding.

You have the wit of good writers, Milton. In spite of everything, the poet is victorious for having someone by his side who makes him happy... I thank you for your always wise and encouraging words.
