An Untruthful Truth

It touches so many people,
it's terrifying.
We are just as perceived as we are deceived,
into thinking there's no choice,
but the choice to fit into the mold,
and blend in.

We're forced to let the truth slide,
though we know what it is,
on the inside.
To many,
the inside is insignificant.

An untruthful truth,
constructed by a society,
with unattainable expectations
