An unplanned nice trip
20250525
After missing the train to Swan Hill.
I went Frankston and got off at Currum station.
A local bus 833 to Lake Patterson.
Walked right into a Retirement.
I was drawn to the Patterson Lakes Village,
With the water fountains and bridges.
Then made another mistake,
Headed to Seaford Wetland.
Finally, walked on the gravel stone path,
Of the Dandenong creek trail,
Along the Patterson River.
Then I boarded a bus toward a land mark.
Leisurely strolled along the Pelican and Parkway Lagoons,
Also between Black Swan and St Clair Lagoons,
And found the Waterways Lake.
As I turned off Bowen Road,
I almost run into a pushed bike.
Which was rested on a narrow footpath.
As I managed walked pass it,
I noticed there was a wooden bench
Tucked away and surrounded by the hedges.
I soon realised there was someone
Already sat there to enjoy his lunch.
I quickly sat down
On the end of the bench.
We chatted on many subjects.
When mentioning about music,
I asked him to watch, "The Piano"
Then he memtioned something
About people no longer own a piano.
He also said there were time,
People dumbed them as rubbish.
Then I let him listening to two pieces of music,
Which were old and for movie themes,
He guessed one and claimed,
He still owned those vinyl records and player.
After resting, I bit him goodbye
And took a short cut to the bus nearby.
As I crossed the street,
Something interesting caught my eyes.
A man was working hard
Loaded his plants from onto his van.
With a sign "Hard waste Metal Collection",
I appoached him with curiousity.
It was quite unique.
One related to man made hard waste collections,
The other nurtured the natural growing plants.
He proudly showed me his plants,
Even gave me two to take home.
When I raised the interesting point,
He said he aimed for a perfect world,
Yin and yang as Chinese Fung Shiu.
Full time work with hard metals,
And a gentle hobby to grow and sell plants.
All of the sudden, he yell,
"Look, your bus is here,
You better run to the other side quickly,
Because it will come soon"
As I ran off, he continued
"And don't forget to put your hand out,
Signalling the bus driver to wait for you"
I followed exactly what he said
And ran as fast as I could,
Safely arrived at Noble Park train Station.
The trip was unplanned.
The journey rolled on as the nature led me.
From one place to another.
As the time table of the transportion available.
I embraced the wonderful weather,
Few white could in the blue sky
And gentle water flowing in the river.
