An Unending Search
I don't know who you are.
I've started not to care.
I tried for years to find you but never did succeed.
You made it hard to find you but easy not to care.
I'll never know why you left me, too young to remember your face.
I guess I wasn't good enough for you.
I lie awake at night wondering who you are.
Do you think about me?
Wonder how I turned out?
You don't care if you're found.
That was why you left.
I have to accept who I have and how mch better he is than you will ever be.
We have memories together you and I will never have.
I'm all grown up now, you missed out on everything.
I'm telling myself I'm done trying to find you but who knows if I ever will be.
