An Overseas Mother
The signs passed by and bids goodbye,
The bird is now ready to fly.
Fly so high yet fly so far,
To reach the land with the golden wine.
My star tried not to cry,
And kept the sorrows in her heart.
But the sorrows will soon collide,
And left our hearts wounded and cried.
Maybe I feel the same agony,
'Cause my star left an unsung song to me.
My christmas is near, but also the war,
A war that will last three years in our hearts.
Enlighten us 'o God to bear this sorrow.
Living our last days in agony, so let us see each other tomorrow.
'Cause the sorrow in our hearts may remain forever;
But my future may be better, now or never.
