An Ordinary Story
An ordinary story
Sometimes
So bitter
So bitter
Yet bound
And written together
Penned by you an me
Our great annuals
So heavy
So heavy
Of every wonderland
An' madness
We had dreamt into reality
It's our ordinary story
So dance with shadow
Sway almighty!
As the living chaos
Within an’ exploding galaxy!
Upon this wax wounded throne
Ever rising
An’ embracing
Befriend entropy-
Seating the eternal All-father of rot
Yet let his mystery be
For the witch, the shadow, the woods
And the enemy-
Death, true human nature
The collective unconscious
–as them, as is me
As above, so below-
A tied knot
Of an ordinary story...
In a fait accompli-
Never remembered
Yet never forgot
So rise colossal!
And flow un-constant
As the truth, to be-
Ever shifting an' bending the knee
To an unstill reality
For there is only us-
Mere illusions, of you and me
Bound by an energy
That lives eternally
It's just...
An all too ordinary story
Sometimes
So bitter
So bitter
No real magic, nor mystery...
For the witch, the shadow, the woods
And the enemy-
Death, true human nature
The collective unconscious
–as them, as is me
As above, so below-
All a tied knot
Of an ordinary story...
In a fait accompli-
Never remembered
Yet never forgot
