An Open Letter To Terrorist

Your words like daggers, your deeds like swords,
And in your wake, you leave bleeding hoards.
Often children stripped from their mothers
Killing your own sisters and brothers!
Because they do not bow to your ways
Their cities must go up in a blaze?
How many must die because of you,
Ancient cities fall, before you’re through?
Who filled you with that false promise
That your terror on earth He’d dismiss?
That God would hold you in high regard
As a martyr, you’d find your reward?
How could you bring Hate to religion,
When His words of love you abandon?
