An Ode To the Force
This is in Yoda speak, my favorite Star Wars character
Your heart lives the greatest power within;
faith that survives darkest gloom
where in its depths roses bloom
and in its heights, the sun at noon
warms all and holds evil down.
No twilight there is, no night nor day.
See, a glow that grows - and all can
and follow, even deaf and blind can.
The force within that feel you can.
Like planted seed faith grows,
it grows through crusted earth,
in frozen tundra, under snow.
It matters where it is sown not.
Your soul believes provided that
the power to conceive, love has.
No greater love, no greater need
than trusting inner faith I plead.
This space we float in, we fly -
you and I, different in appearance only.
Our souls, our beings, deny cannot -
atoms of the same matter we are,
with gravity toward the same nucleus,
cells pumped by the same heart,
thoughts by the same mind,
players in the same dream -
for survival needing the same.
Yet trust you not when you must.
You fight the orbit but, you escape cannot.
That it gives you life, you do not know.
Your blood runs in me -
see, trust in the Force and you will.
If you leave, cease to be you will,
but in faith, free to be you will...hmmmm
