An Ode To My Poetry Soup Friends, You Know Who U Are
For all of you who know me
for all of you who care
for all of you who have been there
for me to share.
Ive shared my dark days
Ive bared my soul
those of you who have let me
unburden my shoal.
Little fishes run wild.
I know I have been an unruly child.
I thank you all from the heart of me
the core of me
and the badness in me,
but brighter day have shone.
This has been my silence
I cannot find the words to shine
when life is looking good
but reflections of days gone by
give me hope.
I am so grateful that you stood with me
with honest words spoken
spur me on when I have been broken.
I havent had the voice
or
character to say
you have given me strength
in this day.
You know who you are.
