Notes About The Poem

My November Challenge: An Ode to _(ONE STANZA ONLY) Poetry Contest

An Ode To My Ears

To my ears, not elephant ears I did not inherit from my granddad. I have ear piercings on my earlobes, which allow me to showcase my favorite earrings or studs. The left ear is fully deaf, allowing me to enjoy the silence. In a hectic world, those moments are golden.

The left ear is fully deaf and yet your deftness found joy in the silence, dear Eve! Congratulations!

Congrats on a top win, Eve. My husband also is completely deaf in one ear since childhood, but I like how you see this as a positive thing and not a negative. Awesome
