Adventures can take on many forms... The courage to go beyond your norms The attempts to try midwinter sports To sing bravely, even verses short. There are Adventures of only shorter stays Like day trips and holidays. And what about when you take a look Inside your favourite story book? You join the characters in what's happening. You feel their hearts swell when they sing. It resonates when the inferior finds that they belong. You gain pure pearl wisdom as you read along. Here is an ode to the Adventures of life For each day is exciting. Nobody knows what each day will bring Or who their hearts will be inviting... There's Adventure in seeking yourself In seeing how the mirror reflects emotional health. Numbness can make you feel the colour of pearl While endless restless thoughts do swirl. But here is an ode to the adventurous Who strive to conquer their fears Who dip their oars and continue to row Through their rivers of tears. Tough times it seems you must go through In the Adventure of discovering you. Gradually, the mirror reflects what others see Your inner critic silenced, you become more free! Be adventurous even if inside It feels cold like midwinter. Take courage! The mirror will show you You are a pearl... Now that is something to sing!
