An Ocean Between the Fire
fire in the ocean
burning, searing
hotter than the sun
but amongst the flame
inside the embers
a dark ocean
has waves taller
than the fires blaze,
the dark waters
hold oceans
hold inlets
hold seas
and in these waters
lie shadows
of the seize
