An Observation

War!
When will there be Peace?
That is a question we dare not ask
Of governments both present or past
For surely they will think us disloyal
If we do not agree with their garble
To keep sending our troops to foreign lands
Is, no doubt, not an option at hand!
If we want to keep terrorism out
Of our homes, our streets, our country
We must allow our soldiers to do their duty
Without interference, back lash or penalty
Our nation depends on our military.
As one people, let us stand together
And give our respect and support
To our service men and women
Fighting to keep our nation free
So we can retain our sweet liberty
For without them
We could not win,
We would not last,
We would surely parish!
