An Obituary
Once here was a river
A laughing river
A caring river
She cooled our throats
She poured Gold
Into our paddy fields
She was a playground for our kids
But we cut her vein
We cut her throat
We stabbed into her heart
She can cry only now
Forget to laugh
But I still remember her lullaby
Perhaps it is an obituary
To my beloved river
