I knew I loved her from the start, She was in love with another Who treated her like a brother! Annoyed, she then noticed my heart. Asked her to dinner as a start. My first quitilla attempt. My apologies if it is not true to form.

Perfecto! I like the Quintilla form too, 8 syllables per line x 5 lines. Short & crisp, whilst rhyming too

I haven't heard of this form. I will have to look it up. It is good to attempt a new form sometimes to give the mind something new to think about. It seems fine to me but of course I don't know. I am glad you attempted it anyway. Thanks for the visit to my page. I wonder if you are talking about your relationship with the form or the person. LOL..Sara

Lovely poem, with an invitation for dinner. I've only written one and it was called "Crowned May Queen" written on 4/18/2015.
