An Introvert's Prayer

Give me a minute
Just let me breathe
For God's sake I'm begging
Please just let me be
Don't come to find me
When I'm not in your view
I'm hiding on purpose
That's just what I do
Can't you see that I'm choking
I'm gasping for air
You keep talking and talking
No peace anywhere
I need time to center
To be by myself
Alone with my silence
And nobody else
Don't take it personal
It's not about you
I am an introvert
It's what I must do

"I'm hiding on purpose That's just what I do" this is perfectly said.
