An Introduction

The day I met you
That was a hell of a day
You introduced yourself, you told me your name,
I ,too distracted by the speckles of gold in your eyes, simply replied.
“Wow.”
Embarrassment swelled inside my body but you just laughed it off
Embracing me like an old friend
Days turned to weeks
Weeks to months
And slowly but surely you became so important to me
I was yours and you were mine
Until my heart stops beating
Just know, i’ll never stop looking at you and just think..
“Wow.”
