An Interview For My Other - For Contest

You can't make me happy, this I know
Offers to do anything for me won't join us as one.
Unshackle me from doubt, let me your intent trust, post your
Mezuzah upon my heart, a sacred seal, a pledge
Absolve me of my crimes, my faults, my shortcomings
Yield not to my insecurities, and have courage to show me yourself.
Journey with me to destinations unknown, and do not stay behind when the rough ground blisters your heels.
Offer only to walk with me, to share a journey-- me with you, and you with me
In time, let love become a habit we wear, simple and faithful.
Need I explain why?  So many offer the travel, so few offer their sincerity.
My life is short, live with me vigorously the next four score years
Each day as eternity, and eternity as a day.
