An Interpretation of the Tarot Sun Card

beneath a gold sun a small child with arms outstretched. . . joy of life embraced wearing just a smile the boy straddles a white horse. . . strength in purity an orange banner grasped tightly in the child's hand. . . vitality seized sun's rays in blue sky. . . good vibrations undulate on the horizon nourished by the sun four sunflowers beam brightly. . . life's sweet fulfillment For Tracie's Contest on Tarot Cards Please see the following link for a look at the card's picture: http://tarotandchaldean.blogspot.com/2012/05/blank_31.html

Tremendous haiku talent displayed. I'd be scared to death to try a multi-stanza haiku. I would destroy my knuckles counting syllables. You inspire me though and one of these days I'll see if "The Poets' Wine" will give me courage to try... Great write here....Jake

I hope his mama put some sun screen on him. :) I wonder what these cards can mean. When all I see's a painted scene. The stars align and the sea's will rise. But tarot cards? I think their just a guise. :)

Well done! I recognized the card from your poem before I went to the link. I'm not certain what that says about me, but it implies you captured the image.
