An Insomniac

Thoughts who won’t hush, they tell me
the mountains dance with praises
breaking through the mist, I see
splendid breath of still gazes
welcome to hope, bow your knee
see how His love amazes
soon slumber shall set you free

Wow this seems to be metaphorical or you could take parts of it literally. I really like it. Good luck for a deserved win

Great little gem Gina, so much packed into seven lines with nice imagery and expression throughout this lovely piece. Have a blessed weekend, Gordon

He always helps bring me through the tough times … the mind can push out thoughts like a well oiled machine …. Love this

You are right, Gina. When we entrust everything to the safe hands of God, our minds will be filled with peace and hope. Then slumber will automatically grace us and one will never suffer from insomnia. Stay blessed dear Gina.
