An Icon of Ny

Their sandwich aesthetic motif
Will thrill the palate beyond belief
Try the pastrami
For a taste bud tsunami
Or order Katz Deli's corned beef


Author's Note: No trip to NY is complete without visiting Katz Deli. BTW, a scene from when Harry met Sally was filmed there. 

The food is unbelievable, and the experience is pure NY (a bit chaotic).  It is also open 24/7 so there is no excuse to miss this one. I would say, to my friends, that it will be more memorable than the Statue of Liberty, Empire State building, etc. Please do not make a mistake and bypass this multicultural experience if in NY.

Debbie Duncan January 31, 2019 at 6:33 PM Sounds like you are in love with that place. I don't eat beef. Though I could be telling a slight lie. I've started drinking collagen/ peptides powder. Which has bovine gelatin in it. But, on the other hand, Kraft, PepsiCo, Nestle, work with Semonyx, a California-based [company] that uses aborted embryonic cells to test fake flavoring chemicals. Check it out! Duke Beaufort February 1, 2019 at 3:41 AM You're better off without it. I know of two people who died from a form of "Mad Cow" disease. It's pretty sad stuff since one of them was fairly close--sister of a sister-in-law. She was 50 something and had received cow-derived growth hormone as a child. I hesitate to share this info, but we will be better off when we are without animal derived foods. At least beer comes from yeast and plants!!!

If you ever make it to NY, you would definitely want to visit this place. It is just off the wall crazy, but good. It's not cheap, but it is good. It takes our minds off the mess we have created for ourselves and the rest of the world.

Something food lovers find hard to forget, and we all do need to eat something. It's definitely a mind blowing experience.
