An Honest Write
Many things gave me this desire
to write with a mind so fully free
showing a real deep felt honesty
of things in heart eyes can't see
This is an adventure so different
from anything I have travelled before
it brings a liberty before unknown
nothing more wonderful I am sure
It's been a track with many directions
my pen has brought such release
pouring out ink with liquid power
showing a calmness and a peace
Honesty is always the best policy
shows you speak from the heart
folk see the fake from the right
just go right on not just a part
A word is a truly powerful thing
just imagine what one could do
with the right words combined together
join some rhyme but be honest true
