You knew how to coax out a smile, I never had a better friend than you. The times I'd ignore you, you'd shy away: and yet, stuck by me, when I acted crazy. When I got sick, you wouldn't leave me until you were sure I was okay. And you were happy sharing my happiness, feeling you are family. I let you into my heart where few have been, and have never regretted that. But the time has come for me to say goodbye: you were an exceptional friend. And I know, if there is such a thing as a doggy heaven: you're undoubtedly already there.

I truly believe there is a "rainbow" bridge where we will again be with our four-footed furry family. A touching write Emile. Congratulations!
