Listen to poem:
summertime heat wave
balmy puff heaves scorched leaves round
neath a rolling sun
flocks of birds flap them
wings profusely promising
heights and cooled feathers
a sandy shoreline
relieves souls in traipsing trails
of a surging sea
shady trees branches
outwardly soothing life neath
its sheltered expanse
as radiance slides
some somber dusk satisfies
as night waits its turn

Hello William Kakaula, a beautiful scene for your poetry. I like when the sunset meets the water, to me it looks like the sun is falling slowly into the water.I enjoyed this poem. Have a nice day my friend.
