An Evening With Acquaintances

the dust has finally settled
hearts now sigh in relief
the guests have left at last
nobody’s turned a new leaf 

the conversation was lively
mischief pervaded the air
without meaningful content
executed with aplomb and flair

life role by us thus enacted
dynamic stillness in motion
within the mundane atmosphere 
yet savours soma nectar potion

our heart’s secret goes unnoticed
even by near and dear ones 
as we remain vibrant throughout
innumerable suchlike reruns

Oh US, I'm saddened to know this has happened to you. No positive changes, all remains the same. Such disappointment-can make one feel nonfulfillment of one's hopes or expectations. But in the end, I am sure that they took something away with them and perhaps that'll make a difference.

In but not of the world in motion, vibrancy is drowned not in commotion and as bliss beats renew within in midst of all that din, no one else can feel rapture tingle appeal of the orchestra underway that makes us in joy sway
