"an Evening In Spring"

A beautiful spring late afternoon, sitting at
that cafe lost in each others' thoughts..
Sipping espresso tasting the warm nutella
pastries as my eyes are caught...
Sweet walks down the street, window shopping
with your hand in mine...
A glance or two just to see your smile...
Looking for quiet place to hold you for awhile..
Dinner is soon as sitting on the bed,
watching you get ready and not a word is said..
As you brush your hair and see me on the side...
My eyes are locked from this beauty that can't hide...
Graceful and classy as you slide into that dress..
My desire and love are like a slow move in chess..
I take you by the hand and hold out your chair...
The world could be collapsing and I don't have a care..
As dinner is served your beauty fills the room...
Your voice so intoxicating I'm lost in your tune...
Our night is magical as we get lost as one..
So sweet memories in my heart that are never done..

Awesome poem! Lucky girl. I really like these lines, "Graceful and class as you slide into that dress.. My desire and love are like a slow move in chess.."
