An Epistle To Light

Dear Light
Fairest of ‘em all
Beam your blinding rays
Chase me
And spark another you in me
To end my reign
Dispel me into the shadows
Let the new you
Glow with your grace
And my darkened eyes
Tear with disgrace
Spring forth
Gush out
Like a fountain of you
Chase away
Drown every breathing me
For i am darkness
And you are light
