An Epiphany Dawns
An epiphany dawns at the rim of my sight..
Where stardust remembers the shape of our night.
I watch life take form in the breath of the deep..
From cells that awaken to minds that can weep.
We rose from the oceans, from fire and bone..
Each heartbeat a drum saying "you are not alone".
Spirals of DNA, ancient and wise..
Echoes of creatures that learned how to rise.
The beetle, the bird, the unheard and unseen..
All stitched to the same quiet, luminous seam.
We differ in skin and in language and name..
Yet burn with one spark from a singular flame.
What is the soul but a question that stays..
A light that insists in the darkest of days?
Not pinned to the flesh, nor caged in the mind..
But a current that hums through all of our kind.
Perhaps it was born when the first life drew breath..
A defiance whispered straight into death.
Or maybe it waits in the spaces between..
What we know to be real and what’s felt but unseen.
So here, at this moment, this fragile design..
I feel it align.. yours answering mine.
An epiphany dawns, soft, aching, and whole..
Life's learning form,
and form learning soul.
