An Entreaty
Here
we are,
here we be,
until so graced
to receive the bliss
throbbing in permanence,
without the flame flickering.
We seek freedom from delusion,
consciousness illumined in fullness,
love and light eternal glowing within.
Nothing less will suffice, for all else false.
We pledge then to remain in silence
until all darkness is dispelled,
delusion exhumed in full
and our being entwined
with the light divine
unwavering.
As a child,
we pray
thus.
