Love's an emotional minefield; where hope steps on fragile feelings. And hearts learn not to break or yield; but bend like a reed in the wind. When innocence leads hearts astray, love's an emotional minefield. And it's easy to lose your way; if you've never been there before. Your reality stays concealed; as dreams morph into fantasy. Love's an emotional minefield, pitted with rounds of depression. Youth painted pictures in your mind; touting love's everlasting joy. But as you venture forth, you'll find; love's an emotional minefield.

Love hurts and our fantasizing the concept of love can destroy us. You have painted a very poignant message. Blessings, Paulette

Truer words were never spoken, Emile. Love is so incredibly wonderful, but it runs the gamut of deep feelings and emotions. You've done a beautiful job of expressing this in your poem. Love it!
