An Elegy For the Moon

These pebbles were
once a moon,
an old moon ,
Our moon .

 from
 the liquid sky
a new moon
In the heart
of a lily
 Sprouts

We will
all be gone
by the time
the new moon
 blossoms

It will shine
over different people
Men
 from the future

And we will
remain
Only in
 our ancestral marks

       that
we painted
 with red fruit
in our caves ,
In the broken ,
 downtrodden
Halls
