An Argument
Words sting
Like fire from the sky
A sea of needles
Making you break down and cry
Teardrops flow
Like a stream of sorrow
Shattering pale skin
In the face of fury
You never know
When words will
Strike you down
Killing with grace
Unbeknownst from the ground
The most innocent remark will
Tear you apart
Ruin all that you are
Rip shreds off your heart
Distress comes calling
From behind locked doors
And the boat full of anxiety
Is released from the shores
Of your heart
