An Arctic Dilemma

AN ARCTIC DILEMMA
Ursus maritimus the arctic polar bear
Once abundant now disappearing
Worlds largest carnivore, but endearing.
Dependant on seals for sustenance
Both in peril lets not any more romance
Both vulnerable to total extinction
Sea ice habitat decreasing, not fiction.
Climate warming the main reason.
Hunting grounds for polar bears in season
Where once seals found momentary respite
Like disappearing quickly sadly overnight
Once both hunted for both for fur and food
Out on the sea ice when times were crude
Same story, both far and few between.
Both soon only seen in a pics and dreams.
