An Antidote To Shake the Devil

How much antitoxin would it take
To shake the devil out of a soul;
To clean sin out of the heart
And make it completely whole?

All the antitoxin in the world
Couldn't make it depart;
Only the fear of Christ and salvation
Must penetrate the heart.

Such an uncostly remedy
You can take as much as you need;
Jesus gave Himself readily
One just needs to take heed.

The prescription has been written
And has already been filled;
The Great Physician is waiting
For the soul to be healed.
