before we can go,
we must stop...
to reflect on the journey
before we can go on living,
before we can fully breathe...
we must stop waiting for death
before we can go together,
before we can fully feel...
we must stop walking apart
before we can go in love,
before we can fully accept...
we must stop embracing shame
before we can go forgiven,
before we can fully believe...
we must stop nurturing hate
before we can go forward,
before we can find our way...
we must stop to release the past
