An Angel Lost

Through Prayers I’ve yelled, The remembrance of your love, Where once I dwelled, In the heavens above, But flesh I chose, To pay my cost, Living among those, As Angel lost. No longer can I fly, Free from pain, But still you try, To ease my shame, My wings are clipped, In this world I’m tossed, Powers are stripped, From this angel lost, But these angel eyes still kiss. The souls who pray, As I sit here and miss, My home so far away.
