An Angel In Your Eyes

You say that I am an angel,
i'm here to say you should stop believing.
You say that I am your light,
i'm here to say that darkness can be deceiving.

You say that I am your hope,
i'm here to say that your eyes are too clouded.
You say that I am so pure,
i'm here to say my souls so black you'd be astounded.

You say that I am an angel,
i'm here to say you need to finally clear your view.
You say that I have innocence,
i'm here to say you need to see what you already knew.

you say that I am like the sun,
i'm here to say you will never believe what is true.
you say that I am your happiness,
i'm here to say that one day maybe i'll believe you.
