An Amazing Sojourn

Off to Nashville you went So your songs could be heard The competition was tough Often without a kind word But you held to your gun Because you had something to say And that was something to be proud of And reflect on day-by-day You believed in yourself You knew you were right You were a resolute trouper You gave it your best fight Now that many years have passed And memories wane If you had it to do over, Would you do it all again?
