An Afternoon Delight
Having a nice day waiting for clients at work.
They don't show so I can leave, love this perk.
What can I do with the day, its only noon.
I'll surprise my girlfriend, be there soon.
I stop and get a rose and some good food.
Hopefully this will put her in the mood.
I get to her apartment and about to walk in,
then I hear, “hey buddy, help you with somethin'?”
I turn and look, “No, I'm good, but thanks though.”
Then he stops me, “Where are you trying to go?”
I say “Into my girlfriend's apartment, why?”
At that point we were seeing eye to eye.
There are some thing in life that you just can't amend.
One would be when you meet your girlfriend's boyfriend.
