An Affair of the Heart
when it comes to matters concerning the heart
my head doesn't seem to be very smart.
i never look before i leap,
the wrong way down a one-way street.
it seems i've really got a knack
for picking mr. wrong.
i'll find the ******* in the crowd
it doesn't take me long.
he's the hot shot in the cowboy hat,
the one with snakeskin boots.
or the biker in the leather jacket,
he looks kind of cute.
the ******* with the attitude,
that's the guy i like.
he can have my gratitude
if he'll get me through the night.
