I believe that an act of cruelty
Is to take away a child's security
So let it be said
When two people wed
Make sure it's a certain surety

Vera, well-said. The problem occurs when one wants to be wed, and the other pretends they want to be wed. Your poem does bring an important problem to light. It is the children who suffer. Well done indeed!

Hi Lindsay, so true my friend they need to expose them all, if only they could live the lives my children and I had perfect, I am having trouble trying to write a fresh poem but until then I will repost a couple of old ones, thank you so much for the visit and take care.......Vera
