   Avoiding herky-jerky beat's so hard
While classic rhyme can be sublime
   For romantic verse, it sets off chimes --  
Structured verses tend to ebb and flow
   Be they sonnets, ballads, couplets or rondeaus...

Explore your inner world in free verse
   Plumb the depths of darkness and despair
Or soar on eagle's wings through the air
   Propelled by unchained imagination
And creativity: Where you end up
   Limited solely by your resistivity
