Amusing

Just for a while, I watch death smile; To frame odd wiles, Fit awkward style. Death owns a voice, Discerns each cue; Plays to a choice, Yet fashions due. In swift fond jest, Death works the way, To quell vain fest, To end old play. Death knows the time, For space to move; Then stops the chimes, To sync swift grooves. Seize then this day, Do live your best; Enjoy your way, For death needs rest. Death can be kind, If you but see; Seize peace of mind, Then let things be. Here at the gate, The dying dusk; Death echoes fate, Takes off your mask. Death comes to each, Just wait and see; Transcend your reach, Live most fully. Folly frames fake, Just dare to live; In one clear take, Death thus can give. Leon Enriquez 28 May 2017 Singapore
