Amuse Me
Amuse me and set my spirit free
Amuse me and write a poem for me
The days are swiftly passing by and
And I have a mission to complete before
I die, the sun is moving towards the East
But the journey is not yet complete
The promise has not been kept and the
People are burden with debt.
Amuse me when my spirit is down
Amuse me when I am wandering
Around the town; amuse me when
My body is weak, amuse me when
I am crawling on my knees, the deal
Is not yet done, and heaven is on the run
If laughter could fill the empty space
And love could repair the broken bridges
I would open the door and let you in
And love would make you win
It is the unknown that scares you
And the unspoken words that torments you
Amuse me when the valley gets deep
Amuse me when the mountain is steep
Amuse me when Love walks through the door
Amuse me my soul is yearning for more
Heaps of dry bones piled up at the altar
They could not overcome the natural disaster
Dry bones lie on the cracked ground without flesh
Searching for their bodies in piles of rubbles
Disease has rocked the entire town
and bodies are scattered all around
Amuse me when the tears cannot flow
Amuse me when I have nowhere else to go
Amuse me when things go wrong, amuse
When I sing this painful song
Close all the temple doors
And move the people towards
The shore and tell them to weep no more
Amuse me before you walk through the door
