Amphibole - Ambiguity of Speech
Ambiguity is an oft used tool of politicians.
Many of whom, with long practised skill
Purse their lips, as though great decisions,
Having caused them some concern, will
Incite further rhetoric, if logic prevails.
By way of byzantine responses, they bamboozle
Opponents with wordy confusion, though it fails
Logical explanation! Rather than a blank refusal,
Evasive amphibole is a politician’s, customary ploy!

as we've seen recently in interviews they've given!
