Amorous Hearts

For hours I sit without speaking
More when I find myself seeking
Lines for poetry that must rhyme
Signs that I've been wasting my time
Quite often, my mind goes adrift
Plight of poets without the gift
Of writing their romantic thoughts
Love must flow from amorous hearts
