Among the Ashes
Sleeping among the ashes
Watching time pass bye
Covered by smoke, smoothed by all it's burdens
Hoping only too die
Waiting for God to make a way for me to stay awake
Lord I need a good old shake
Heaven don't let me wait
Emotions and feelings being push aside
God can you be on my side
Turning, tossing, rolling side to side
Trying to recognize whose on my side
All this pride have me on this roller coaster ride
