Amid Your Dreams

Amid your dreams find loves awaking.
There is a state where evil waits
To take the pure and lovely hearted
Into a realm of dread and hate -
Maligning others causes anger.
Hurtful worlds bring forth revenge.
Contention is an evil palace
Where hope and joy cannot abide.
Misunderstandings lead to anger.
Spoken in the truest light.
It matters not the right or reason.
When evil grips with deadly claws,
If loving sinks into despair,
Future dreams are lost to bleakness.
So, search your heart and heed its call.
Follow goodness; make God’s choices.
Do not let the devil win.
He fears your joy and wants your end.
Contention brings his great disaster.
Your life wrought with inner pain.
Love when true is filled with beauty.
Selfishness destroys within.
So keep your sights on Heavenly Father.
Do not give up the fight for right.
For there is hope for two lives wanting.
Amid your dreams find loves awaking.
