American Hero Memorial Day Poem

the American hero who did not get the parade who left his dog tags on the field who's weapon fired his last round who now rests on holy ground for the ultimate price they paid in my heart i have a place everyday i remember the ones who did and the family members who do to make America free for me and you it is not just a day , we should kneel down and pray , for the warriors who are out in the field fighting for the flag of freedom we'll cherish those we've lost and their gift to us , the total cost this Memorial Day take a moment and pray
